Honey Lemon Chicken Wings

檸蜜焗鷄翼

This saucy finger licking good Honey Lemon Wings is a must try! It’s sweet, tangy and zesty. A perfect summer dish for the patio setting with a nice cold glass of beer or cold unsweetened iced tea.

Ingredients:

1 lb chicken wings
1 lemon juice (medium / large)
3 tbs honey

Marande: 

⅓ tsp salt
1 tbs oyster sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
1 tbs cooking wine
½ tbs of minced garlic
2 tsp cornstarch

Garnish:

1 lettuce leaf
1 tbs lemon zest
a pinch of dried parsley

Method:

  1. Wash and dry chicken wings. Marinate with marinade ingredients for at least 2 hours.

  2. Place chicken wings on a baking tray. Preheat the oven at 375°F for 2 minutes. Bake chicken wings for 10 minutes, flip them over and bake for another 10 minutes. 

  3. Brush honey on the chicken wings and bake for 1-2 minutes Then serve.

Note: 

  • Sprinkle lemon zest on top for a zesty finish. When zesting, be sure not to grate too deep to avoid skin’s bitterness.

  • Baking time varies depending on wing size. Poke into chicken wings to make sure blood does not gush out. If so, bake a few more minutes.

檸蜜焗鷄翼

這個美味雞翼是必須嘗試的菜試!酸甜,清爽可口。配搭冰凍的啤酒,是露台的理想夏日菜式。

材料:

雞翼1磅
檸檬1只揸汁
蜜糖3湯匙

醃料:

鹽1/3茶匙
蠔油1湯匙
老抽半茶匙
糖1茶匙
酒1湯匙
蒜茸半湯匙
生粉2茶匙

裝飾:

生菜1片
檸檬皮1湯匙
乾香菜1湯匙

做法:

  1. 雞翼洗淨抺乾水份,加醃料及檸檬汁,醃2小時至入味。

  2. 焗盆放入鉄𣕧棑上雞翼,放入預熱焗爐內,用375°F 焗10分鐘,反轉再焗多10鐘。

  3. 將雞翼兩邊搽上蜜糖,再焗多1分鐘,即可上𥐙供食。

註:

  • 在雞翼上撒上檸檬皮。不要刨檸檬皮太深,白色部分會有苦味

  • 雞翼大小不同,焗嘅時間有分別。
